Hi, I'm Auntie Evie! Welcome to my little corner of the world, filled with crochet, comforting recipes and all things cosy.
But before I tell you about Auntie Evie, I want to tell you where the name comes from.
Inspired by a little piece of home β€οΈ
Auntie Evie was inspired by my own Auntie Annie and the special place she has always held in my heart.
Being with her was my safe, cosy place... somewhere I could be myself, try new things and learn the hobbies I still love today. As I've grown older, I've realised what a wonderful gift that was and how much this shaped me as a person.. and now as an auntie myself.
I want to be that auntie for my own nieces and nephews, too. Someone whose home is always a safe and cosy place to land, where they can explore, create, make memories and learn with me.
A little business built around the things I love π§Ά
These days, you'll usually find me with a crochet hook in hand, surrounded by yarn, pottering around in the garden or dreaming up my next creative project whilst having a nice cuppa and slice of cake.
Auntie Evie grew from my love of making things and my dream of building a life filled with creativity, cosy hobbies and the little things that make me happy.
Here you'll find my crochet creations, from colourful accessories to quirky little plushies, along with glimpses of my hobbies and everyday life.
I love learning as I go, trying new things and turning little ideas into something real. And I hope the things I make bring a little bit of that joy into your home, too.

Home isn't just about the things we make. It's also about the things we share, the memories we create and the recipes we return to.
I love the idea of keeping our favourite family recipes somewhere safe, so we can all find them whenever we need a little taste of home, wherever we may be.
Auntie Evie is a little place to keep those recipes close, so they can be shared, enjoyed and passed down for years to come.
Because sometimes, comfort is as simple as a bit of home cooking.
